VIRGINIA TOPS IN GETTING PRIVATE CASH FOR ROADS

A national consulting firm recently found that Virginia has the best system in the United States for attracting private funding for large-scale, public transportation projects.  According to the report, Virginia initiated more P3 transportation projects last year than any other state, and received $6.00 to $7.00 dollars in private funds to every $1.00 dedicated by the State to P3 transportation projects.

KEITH GOLDEN NAMED GEORGIA DEPARMENT OF TRANSPORATION COMMISSIONER

VIRGINIA BEACH CITY COUNCIL ENDS PPP PROJECT TO CONSTRUCT $109 MILLION HOTEL. CITY TO NOW CONSIDER OTHER PROPOSALS.

The Virginia Beach City Council officially ended a PPP transaction to construct a four-star hotel near the Virginia Beach Convention Center.  The proposal lost political support earlier in the year. [Read more →]
